Norman’s summer has been one crammed full of top-notch productions and storming gigs in the world’s best venues. Amongst regular trips to Ibiza to rock Ushuaia, Erick Morillo’s Subliminal & Masquerade Motel with the Swedish House Mafia at Pacha, Norman also managed to co-produce the huge summer hit 'Chase The Sun' with David Tort, spending a HUGE 8 weeks in Beatport’s top 10 chart. Now, Norman drops another killer production with 'Kalifornia'; a track produced specifically for his new mix compilation, 'Norman Doray Strictly Ibiza To Amsterdam' (due for release on October 10th).
'Kalifornia' combines a classic 80’s disco feel with the sound of today’s true underground house scene to perfect effect. Drenched in feel-good disco vibes that come courtesy of some archetypal Studio54 strings, 'Kalifornia' shines with a glittering and vintage aesthetic whilst still injecting the drive. In true Doray style, Norman manages to seamlessly combine the retro feel with a big and brash attitude that is built upon a lush, high-powered groove. Highly addictive and wonderfully unique, 'Kalifornia' looks set to be 2011's end of summer anthem.
