Michael Woods originally started out as a winner of a competition spearheaded by Ministry of Sound to find their newest resident. Since then, Woodsy has released some HUGE tracks and remixes, appearing on labels such as Toolroom, Ministry, Chris Lake’s Rising Music and even deadmau5’s Mau5trap label.
He also finds the time – alongside running his own Diffused Music label – to play regularly to the crowds of the world, taking with him his all-encompassing sound that borrows from trance, techno and house respectively.
In preparation for his appearance at Toolroom Knights 5th Birthday at Brixton Academy this forthcoming weekend, Michael offers us a crystal clear snapshot of his sounds, journey and feeling within his DJ sets.
