On Friday night i tuned into Annie Mac's Radio One show, as i heard rumour that she had been given the honour of having first spin of the full vocal version of Swedish House Mafia Vs Knife Party 'Antidote'...

Soundcloud users reaction has been mixed.
For the first 2 mins it's pretty much all positive...

Then the vocal kicks in and feedback goes rapidly downhill...

What do i think?..
I’m a huge Knife Party fan. First hearing them at Space, Ibiza & more recently going to see them at Warehouse Project in Manchester.
I like Knife party because they are edgy, and have already established a recognisable sound.
The first 2 minutes of this track is signature Knife Party, and i absolutely love it.

The problem i have is that i do not like Swedish House Mafia; and the vocal that kicks in after 2 mins is signature SHM. It’s cheesy, pop, Will.I.Am/ Guetta influenced dross, & unfortunately it ruins the edginess for me.

Sad times... I pray they release the instrumental...

ANNIE MAC PRESENTS... AT THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT, SOLD OUT...

Six nights at WHP11 are now SOLD OUT, the latest being Annie Mac presents on Friday 23rd September.

Fans are also warned that tickets to Saturday 22nd October’s event, hosted by leading drum ‘n’ bass label Hospitality, are running dangerously low. There is no time to waste when it comes to securing a place one the dance floor for the biggest and best club line-ups on offer this year.

Only two weeks remain until The Warehouse Project opens its doors marking the start of an amazing 15 weeks, 32 parties and the last ever season at Store Street.

The launch event on Saturday 17th September, aka The Beginning of the End, welcomes the legendary DJ Shadow. A major presence in electronic music for an impressive 15 years DJ Shadow will be laying on an extra special performance dubbed ‘Live from the Shadow Sphere’.

The start of WHP11 proceedings also features many more exhilarating sets packing in everything from dubstep to experimental beats from resident Skream, Sgt Pokes, SBTKT, Hudson Mohawke, Jackmaster, Africa Hi-Tech, Mark Pritchard, Steve Specek, Faulty DL, Illum Sphere, Jonny Dub and Juicy DJs.

ERIC PRYDZ AND ANNIE MAC HEAD UP 'TONIGHT' PARTIES IN IBIZA...

“Amnesia is without doubt my favourite venue to play in Ibiza. It has everything you would expect and more from an Ibizan club. We’re really trying hard to bring something different to Amnesia this season, rather than the traditional line ups we’ve all seen time and time again. I’m super excited and can’t wait to see you all there!”

This is what Prydz had to say about his impending summer months on the White Isle of Ibiza. ‘Tonight’ is the brainchild of one of London’s biggest clubbing institutions, Together, and this summer the brand will be welcoming a spectrum of genre-crossing producers to grace the world-renowned nightclub, Amnesia. ‘Tonight’ has conjured up eclectic, tailor-made line-ups to grace this Balearic super-club between 21st June and 6th September.

Fresh off the back of his sell-out EPIC show at Brixton Academy, Eric Prydz will be getting cosy down at Amnesia this summer with his weekly residency playing in the terrace and in the main room. Joining Eric will be Radio 1’s main lady, Annie Mac, to spice things up with her energy-brimming, genre-hopping selection. Special guests will be bumping side with the residents such as D&B duo Chase & Status, Boys Noize, Skream, Benga, Tiga, Adam Beyer, Diplo, Erol Alkan, Fake Blood, Crookers, Sub Focus, Nero, Skrillex and A-Trak, and that’s not all.
