MARTIN SOLVEIG'S RADIO ONE DEBUT...

Multi platinum selling artist Martin Solveig will make his first ever appearance on Radio 1’s Essential Mix this weekend, in what is regarded by many as long overdue.

The ‘in-demand’ super producer and ‘headline maker’ of recent weeks who brought us the global phenomenon that is ‘Hello’ has delivered a mix that is bang on perfect and packed full of surprises.

Solveig, who is currently realising and touring the release of his latest studio offering ‘Smash’ around the world, and who is rumoured to be working with the A-Z of pop music’s royalty, sums up the mix as follows:

“Making the Essential Mix was the ultimate radio mix experience. It’s the 1st time I’ve been invited to do it and so I worked on it very carefully. I’ve offered a few rarities, several of my own edits and a global selection of music that is in line with my current DJ set, because I think that’s what people will expect. There is no theme as such; it’s eclectic, like most of my sets. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you this weekend”.

MARTIN SOLVEIG SCORES AGAIN...

Martin Solveig, the Parisian born hit maker and global House music superstar has just produced the official club anthem for one of footballs most prestigious competitions. Solveig's last release "Hello" was one of the top selling dance tracks of recent years hit sales of over 1.5 million.

With the second release from his new album, "SMASH" being signed as the official anthem to Copa America Football Championship 2011 it looks set to be a great year for Solveig. The track features Bloc Party's Kele.

So make way people....Solveig is taking over!

MARTIN SOLVEIG IS 'READY 2 GO'...

Martin Solveig set the world on fire after his smash hit (and video) for 'Hello'. Now, the caprering, loveable Frenchman is back with his new single, 'Ready 2 Go', featuring the vocal talents of Kele from Bloc Party. If you thought the 'Hello' video - filmed at Roland Garos Tennis Championships (Live) - was a feat worthy of attnetion, then wait until you see the new video for this latest installment in the Smash video series.


The video follows Martin and his "managuer", La Faille, as they continue their quest to push Martin - the unreluctant star - to the top. The extrovert manager suggests they stage an impromptu, gorilla performance at France's biggest stadium, the Stade De France, just before the international friendly between the national French team and Croatia... and of course, the pair find themselves in deeper than they thought.


Shot on location, in front of a full stadium of people and the blessing of an entire country behind him, this video once again breaks the mould and boundaries of just what can be done...
