Good news for the fans of Ferry Corsten and his weekly radio show Corsten’s Countdown! Since this week, Ferry’s interactive radio show can be seen and heard on the official Ferry Corsten YouTube channel.

With over 10 million views and thousands of subscribers, Ferry Corsten’s YouTube Channel is one the most acclaimed channels on the web. Featuring videoclips, exclusive behind the scences footage and now Corsten’s Countdown.

The show will be full length and includes all official artwork of the release from the labels and other features.

Corsten’s Countdown is a weekly interactive radio show hosted by Dutch DJ / producer Ferry Corsten. At this moment the show is being aired in over 35 different countries worldwide! Each week Ferry Corsten introduces the best and latest music around. Right after each episode, the listeners can vote for their favourite track. The 3 tracks with the most votes will be played again the week after, in the Corsten’s Countdown Top 3.

FERRY CORSTEN'S "BIG, ANTHEMIC" NEW ALBUM...

There was plenty of excitement when Ferry Corsten fans discovered last month that the Dutchman would be debuting his new live show at "Stereosonic 2011. While Corsten has been keeping tight-lipped about what’s in store, his sets are sure to be well-stacked with material from his forthcoming artist album. Speaking with our friends over at Data Transmission, the DJ-producer revealed he’s putting the finishing touches on his studio handiwork.

“The new album is slowly but surely taking shape,” he told DT. “It’s getting there, but not quite perfect. This will be the fourth under my own ‘Ferry Corsten’ name.”

As far as Ferry Corsten artist LPs go, his effort from 2008 Twice In A Blue Moon stands as a highpoint in a prolific career. “Ferry demolishes all competition with a labour of love that has definitely been worth the wait,” our reviewer wrote at the time. “Trance is in safe hands.” So, after tiding us over with his Once Upon A Night mix compilations, what’s the next album going to sound like?

“I’m not sure if it will differ sound-wise,” Corsten continued; “definitely very big, anthemic melodies as always. What may change is the track tempo though; nowadays this is definitely lower and not 140-BPM any more. This album is more in-tune with the times and the different variances. So, in short – it’s at a lower BPM but with the big lush melodies!”

Last week, Corsten revealed the video for the album’s lead single Check It Out, and it’s every bit as big and anthemic as he claims, with a distinct pop lining.

FULL ON FERRY, IBIZA...

The world’s finest artists accompany Ferry Corsten this summer at ‘Full on Ferry; Ibiza’ .

For the long awaited event ‘Full on Ferry; Ibiza’, it’s all about the various musical facets of Ferry Corsten and his guest DJ’s. The event will take place every Tuesday night at Sankeys Ibiza, from July the 12th until September the 13th. With only five more days to go, Ferry Corsten reveals the full weekly listings of his show.

Ferry will be accompanied by some of the world´s finest artists to take you on a musical journey. As to be expected from Full on Ferry, the line ups offer a very varied musical spectrum; from progressive to uplifting trance from the likes of Mat Zo, W&W, Kyau & Albert, Marco V & Cosmic Gate, fresh and dirty house sounds from Michael Woods to the fast hard BPM’s from Dutch hardstyle maestro Showtek. The globally renowned fellow artists colleagues of Ferry from the Twenty4Seven Management roster will complement the full line up for this year's kick off of Full on Ferry; Ibiza, so hold your breath for another stunning list of names: BT, Gabriel & Dresden, Aly & Fila, Lange, Sied van Riel, Funkerman, Solarstone, Bart Claessen, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Rafaël Frost, Zoo Brazil, Muzikjunki and Virtual Vault.
