DJ C-SQUARED A.K.A CONNOR CRUISE...

The latest quasi-celebrity to try their luck at the turntables is Connor Cruise, the son of Scientologist head honcho Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

In March, we reported that the teen was aspiring to a career in DJing (http://www.dirtysmart.com/clubbingnews/dj-connor-cruise). Now, the 16-year-old has truly arrived on the scene – dropping all manner of beats at a benefit event for the American Music Awards.

The best part is his inspired moniker... DJ C-Squared!

As reported by the Daily Mail, DJ C-Squared looked every inch the part at the benefit: donning a fat gold medallion around his neck, a MacBook at his fingertips and busting moves on the dance floor when he wasn’t behind the decks.

HAS TOM CRUISE RAISED A MIXMASTERGENIUS?..

There's seemingly no shortage of celebrity DJs hogging the decks and clogging up Soundcloud with their 'mixes'. Indeed in the last year we've seen star CDJ turns from the likes of Dennis Rodman and Sasha Grey and now Connor Cruise, better known as the adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Yep, as reported by Bossip, the 16 year old Connor Cruise has turned to a life behind the decks and played one of his first public sets at a fashion launch over the weekend.

"The teen is paving his way as a DJ and spun some tunes at a fashion event in LA last night," the item explained. "Not that he needs the money as he has wealthy A-List actors for parents but he seemed to enjoy himself while spinning the decks."

We'll hold our breath in hope that this is the beginning of a burgeoning trend of Scientologist DJs... lol.
