We are streetwear. We are fiends from the scene. We live for the weekend. We make moves, not excuses. We go to clubs with no gravity. We wear sunglasses at night. We do the Dada. We take her to the back by the hand. We say ’blau’, ’brrrat’ & ’brap’. We floss. We eat bananas with champagne.
We reject the mainstream. We are Dirty Smart...

MIGHTYFOOLS BREAK TOP 10 ALONGSIDE WU-TANG...
I LOVE to see Mightyfools in the same 'top 10' as Wu-Tang!
Find below NME's weekly round-up of the best ten free tracks available online...
1. Biffy Clyro– ‘Bubbles’/’Mountains’ Live At Wembley
These guys just don’t stop performing live – if you’re heading to Sonisphere this weekend, you can catch them playing a headline slot. Hot off their recent Wembley shows, the band decided to release two live tracks from the night – stop by their official website to nab ‘Mountains’ and ‘Bubbles’. You can find these tracks, and a bunch more from the gig, on the album ‘Revolutions // Live At Wembley’, out now.
2. Wu-Tang Clan – ‘Laced Cheeba’
After making an appearance at Glasto Fest, Wu-Tang Clan are continuing to remind us that they’re back and still as badass as ever. They’ve just dropped this new tune from the forthcoming ‘Legendary Weapons’ album, featuring Ghostface, Sean Price and Trife Diesel, and produced by Noah Rubin.
3. Ganglians – ‘Sleep’
Fancy a free mp3 of Ganglians’ second single ‘Sleep’? Get it now over at Stereogum. As you’d expect from the title, it’s soft, sweet and jangly, and is a perfect track to fall asleep to. Counting sheep is so overrated, anyway. Their album ‘Still Living’ is set for release this August.
4. Toddla T – ‘Red Bull Mixtape Volume 1’
Toddla T recently collaborated with Red Bull over the course of two weeks to create this 30-minute mixtape, featuring nine up-and-coming artists from the UK. Each one, selected by Toddla T himself, recorded a track at the Red Bull studios, and Toddla produced the final mix. “It’s been great working with such fresh talent from across the UK,” he said of the project, “We’ve definitely learnt from each other and added something to each other’s music.” Stop by redbull.co.uk to download the mix and see a full listing of the acts involved.
5. Major Lazer– ‘German Elefant Killer’
While the duo are in Jamaica working on their next album, they decided to share a previously unreleased song to keep us all on our toes for the new stuff. Who knows what the title’s about, but that doesn’t really matter when it sounds like this. Go “like” the band on their Facebook page to unlock the free download link.
6. Tennis – ‘Is It True?’
One of the many precious boy-girl duos of today have covered Brenda Lee’s 1964 classic ‘Is It True?’. It might not have Jimmy Page on guitar like the original version did, but it’s still just as darling as it was back in ’64.
7. The Sound of Arrows – ‘Magic’ (Chad Valley Remix)
If you haven’t seen the video for this Swedish duo’s single ‘Magic’, then do it now. It will give you chills, it will make you smile, and it will make you believe in magic. A couple of kids take on the world, battle monsters, befriend and name a monster “Pom-Pom” and sing and dance around with colourful smoke. Give the track to Chad Valley and it becomes even more beautiful. Download his remix for free over on Soundcloud.
8. She Wants Revenge – ‘Must Be The One’ (Tommie Sunshine & Mightyfools Remix)
You’ll probably know She Wants Revenge for their dark and twisted (and utterly brilliant) tune ’Tear You Apart’. Well, the dark brilliant twistedness is back in the duo’s new single ‘Must Be The One’, only a bit polished and jazzed up by Tommie Sunshine And Mightyfools. The single it out July 18th, and can be found on their brand new album, ‘Valleyheart’, which is set for release next week.
9. The Hundred Days – ‘Sex U’
Want to watch some guys getting their flirt on in a club? Want to see some women turn into mannequins? Want to see the guys smash the mannequins into little pieces? So, the video’s a bit bizarre. But the song’s sizzling. You can find ‘Sex U’ on the San Fran-based band’s debut album.
10. Plants Plants – ‘She’s No One’
London duo Plants Plants cite influences ranging from the Wickerman soundtrack to Wu-Tang Clan, and their self-titled debut EP was produced by Jas Shaw (one half of Simian Mobile Disco). So let that information provide you with an inkling of how unique their material is. Just don’t bother trying to Google them, unless you’re interested in learning about gardening or Robert Plant…
